Grievance Officer & Your Data Rights

Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may, at any time:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Correct or complete inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal).
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
  • Grieve — raise a complaint about how your data is handled.

How to exercise a right or raise a grievance

Email grievance@gharai.co with your request and the phone number or email on your account so we can verify you. You can also request account and data deletion from this address.

Our response timeline

We acknowledge every grievance within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
